Privacy notice for the waitlist
This notice covers the waitlist on this page only. It does not describe a live app, because the app is not public.
What is collected
- Your email address, which is required.
- Favourite games, if you type any.
- Platforms you tick, if you tick any.
- The time you confirmed you are 18 or older and agreed to this storage.
A shortened hash of the network address may be kept briefly to slow spam. The full address is not stored on the signup. The form also has a hidden field that people are not meant to fill. If it is filled, the signup is dropped.
Why
So the person building Gather can tell you if a real opening happens, and can see which games people mentioned. That is the whole use.
What is not done
This list is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not used to build an advertising profile. It is not sent to Discord, Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation.
Where it lives
On the operator's own database for this page, which they can export or delete. It is not part of the private app's database.
How to be removed
Write from the same email address and ask to be removed. Removal requests go through the contact address shown here once it is configured.
